Update

Hello there, young cat. Froststar here, with more news for your ears. Some of it is good, some of it is bad....

For one thing, instead of empty clans, I've filled up IceClan and the ??? Wolf Pack (which is said as the Mysterious Wolf Pack) with just randomly named characters I control. I don't know if any clans overseas have any cats in their history or currently who share a name with one of my own fine warriors, but if it is so, so be it.

Another thing is that I've seen wolves prowling around our borders. Our borders! We, however, cannot drive them back, as they are much more powerful and much more deadly than anything that we have ever faced before. Not even the guises of Frost's Bite can rival this threat.

Also, the meteor that causes bad luck? It's not showing up in the sky very often anymore. But when it does, beware, warriors of IceClan... its as lethal as deathberry poison going untreated. I'm not one to be superstitious, but there have been far too many deaths for us to not notice...

Rest well, young cats, because we could be attacked any day now...

Applying Cats

Eaglestar runs this board, as only she or Whitetail can determine whether a cat passes a certain test or fails. Basically, if you are an apprentice or a cat challenging for a position of power, then you can ask for a test once you have continued a roleplay chain for at least twenty comments, and I will either privately roleplay with you through email or open up a new, public chain that other cats can watch and comment on, evaluating what you need to know for your proposed position. If you are an apprentice, your mentor, even if they are an NPC, may join in the chain unless its an email chain, and can help the testing along. Kits do not need to get an apprentice's test, as they will be accepted as an apprentice if they'd like after they've completed or are still running a roleplay chain of over twenty comments, and warriors only need to request after they've roleplayed several chains of over twenty comments to become an elder, and if they choose, die after twenty comments and one request. There are currently no pending challenges or tests right now. You could get a new rank right now!

Highrock

Here, all the minor news that will be covered in a detailed Highrock post is posted ahead of time. Whitetail, my "deputy", runs this Highrock and keeps it updated.

This moon, there have been no deaths.

A new cat, Shatterkit, has been scented on the territory. She will be fully roleplayable by her roleplay owner once the few kinks in her bio are worked out.

Orchirdkit has decided she would like to be an apprentice or a warrior. Her position will be announced as soon as possible.

Froststar has been renamed Eaglestar by StarClan. She will reveal the reason why later.

The "Extras" page that will explain the ranks and a few extra things on here is WIP. It will be put up ASAP.

Manystone's water level is normal.

It is now newleaf.

There is no other minor IceClan news. Whitetail out.

Mate Requests

Snowclaw, a snowy leopard-spot pelted she-cat, runs this request board. Contact Eaglestar to put a request up for a mate up here! However, kits, apprentices and elders cannot put a request up here, and neither can a medicine cat or his/her apprentice. Also, if you do get romance going, keep it at or under PG-13.

Basically, if the fictional male Stealthrunner desires a she-cat to date him and get a relationship going, he contacts Eaglestar and specifies what he wants in the lady and what he's like. He takes the time to include good parts and bad parts. He puts up a request, and the female Oleanderblaze finds she meets his requirements and he is her type, and Oleanderblaze and Stealthrunner get a roleplay chain going after Eaglestar contacts Stealthrunner. The request is taken down, and Stealthrunner and Oleanderblaze eventually have kits.

There are currently no mate requests. Find true love today!

Clan Cat Requests

Shadowpine, a responsible black she-cat, runs this place. If a Clan Cat has a request that they would like another Clan Cat, preferably not an NPC, to do, they can contact Eaglestar and have their request posted here, and anybody who wants to do the request contacts Eaglestar to have Shadowpine take down the request from the pending request board, and roleplays out doing the request.

For example, if the fictional elder Velvetheart needs new bedding and some mouse bile applied to ticks in their fur, they can contact Eaglestar, who in turn will have Shadowpine put the request on the board. Say that the fictional warrior Lavenderclaw sees the request and is willing to gather some twigs, leaves, moss, lichen and heather alongside dabbing mouse bile on Velvetheart's fur, and contacts Eaglestar. The request is taken down, and Lavenderclaw roleplays out doing the request, and might even strike up a roleplaying chain with Velvetheart.
